Sovereign Ski Workflow: From Screenshot Upload to Exported Card

A step-by-step guide to creating ski data cards with Sovereign Ski — upload screenshots for AI parsing or manual input, pick themes and ratios, and optionally generate AI artwork.

Overview

This tutorial walks through the complete Sovereign Ski workflow — from uploading a ski app screenshot to exporting a finished data card.

Step 1: Upload or Skip

Visit ski.svgn.org. You have two options:

  1. Upload a screenshot — Drag and drop (or click to select) a screenshot from your ski tracking app. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP (max 10 MB).
  2. Skip to manual input — Click "Skip parsing, fill manually" to go straight to the data form.

Step 2: AI Parsing

If you uploaded a screenshot, the server sends it to a multimodal AI model via OpenRouter. The model extracts:

  • Resort / mountain name
  • Number of runs
  • Total distance (km)
  • Vertical drop (m)
  • Max speed (km/h)
  • Session duration
  • Date
The parsed data populates the form automatically. You can review and edit any field before proceeding.

Step 3: Multi-Run Data Form

The form supports multiple runs per day. Each run is a separate entry with its own stats. This is useful for sessions where you ski different sections or take breaks.

All fields are editable. Add or remove runs as needed.

Step 4: Preview and Theme Selection

Once your data is ready, the preview page renders a card using local Canvas — no server calls, no token cost. You can:

  • Switch themes: Default (blue sky), Night (dark mode), Powder (soft pink snow)
  • Switch export ratios: 9:16 (Stories), 3:4 (social post), 1:1 (square)
Every change re-renders instantly on the client.

Step 5: Optional AI Artwork

If you want a polished social media image, click the AI artwork button. This calls an image generation model to create a stylized version of your card. This is the only step that uses credits.

Step 6: Export

Download the final card as a PNG image. On mobile, the Web Share API allows you to save directly to your photo library or share to apps.

Tips

  • Supported apps: Any ski tracking app screenshot that shows session stats can work — the AI model is flexible.
  • Multiple sessions: Fill in multiple runs to capture a full day of skiing in one card.
  • No account required: The core workflow (upload → parse → preview → export) works without login.

Conclusion

Sovereign Ski makes it easy to turn raw ski data into shareable visual cards. The local Canvas approach means previews are free and instant, while AI parsing and artwork generation are available on demand.
